I love this cooler for its tactical appearance and versatility with allowing it to be carried as a backpack! It has nice compartments other than the main cooler section which adds to its function. One improvement that could be made is the straps feel slightly to high on the shoulders as seen in the photo. Therefore, I would not recommend this for someone looking to hike a long trail based on the comfort and placement of the straps. However, it is perfect for shorter walks from the car to the beach or lake for the ease of carrying a cooler! It works great and keeps the ice packs and drinks nice and cold!Slightly smaller then I expected but still works good, perfect for a day hike or fishing. Decently made.This backpack cooler is worth the money! I used it for a gathering at a friend's house and my drinks were ice cold all night! (Not to mention the 2 red velcro Flag patches that came with it!)I gave this a 4 star rating because with minimum ice, I was only able to get 27 cans to fit inside out of a 30 pack. (Which is honestly more than enough, hence still receiving a 4 star rating).Overall, a great cooler!I was expecting better.So, my wife is the main packer when we go outside into the world. I would just leave, but she ensures there's water, and/or any snacks needed for any outing for a 6, 4, and 2 year old. She also likes to use backpack-style purses. She really enjoys that this is a built-in cooler, but also has a smaller front pocket. Normally, she uses a regular purse or purse backpack, then packs a small cooler bag with the kids' water bottles and anything else, for example a yogurt. She says with this pack, there's more than enough room to pack anything she needs, and she can keep her phone, ID, and other things in the front pocket or top. It has a good quality feel to it. The straps are nice and wide, it has mesh along the back and on the insides of the straps. There is a nice (but not needed for us) metal bottle opener affixed to one of the straps. The other good thing is if you like the military look, it comes with a velcro strip and PVC/plastic USA patch, and if not, you don't have to use it and it looks just fine. Overall, a great cooler backpack that will work great for going out with the kids.Its a cheap backpack if that's what ur lookin forWe needed a smaller cooler as our large yeti bag is cumbersome and taking it to smaller outings just doesn't make sense. This definitely fits all of our needs. The outer fabric is tough and water resistant- the green is very pretty. It has a tactical bag look so you do havw the option of using attaching smaller pouches via the velcrow - you can also decorate with patches. It has 2 mesh pockets on each side to put wine bottles or they are large enough for a yeti like cup. The front pouch has an inner mesh pocket for smaller items. The top pocket on the lid is great for a wallet or car keys. The main pocket is fullt insulated and waterproof. The seams look like they are done well. Without ice you could absolutely fit 30 cans easily but with ice you are looking at 20-25. The back has a mesh panel for easy airflow and the straps are padded. I do wish the straps were bigger as they are a bit awkward and the adjustable pieces don't seem to stay very well when pulled out further. These are very minor issues on a great cooler. This backpack is also perfect for bringing snacks/drinks to the pool and beach. While I found other options on Amazon, I really like that this insulated backpack was the most stylish and has a cool tactical theme to its design.
