I was looking for a new hydration pack that would work for a variety of activities - biking, dog walking, hiking, running, and yard work. After taking it on a short bike ride I think this will do the trick nicely. It's very light, fits great, and carries just enough water for my needs. It has a little room for my phone, snack bars, and keys. It breathes nicely too - I didn't even feel it. Probably the coolest thing is the magnetic hose clip which keeps the hose from flapping around and within easy reach. This helps keep your eyes on the road. The bite valve draw is excellent too, so combined with its easy access it's easy to stay hydrated.I also love how it opens and closes - seems much less likely to drip over time than a screw-on cap might or make a mess while filling. It'll be easy to drop some ice in too. One other thing I love is the overall size. It's small enough so it's still plenty easy to put stuff in my jersey pockets and it's not resting on them. I've found that uncomfortable after a while with previous packs, and that was one of the reasons I went back to just using water bottles on rides. Now I think I'll only carry bottles on long, unsupported rides to use once the pack is empty. My only gripe is that except for a little direction on trimming the hose, no usage instructions were provided. I actually had to find a video on YouTube to figure out how to fill it, although I probably could've done so on my own after a while. Not worth dinging them a star for, but I hope Osprey will provide instructions in the future.
