this mini back pack is the cutest - it's not full sized back pack - please don't expect that but it a great size. it's the perfect size for a tablet - mine is roughly 10 iches, 10.1 if i recall correctly or 10.7, either way it fits nicely. then i can still throw a wallet, a bottle of water, and smaller pack of things like chapstick, lip gloss, hand sanitizer, etc in there along all of the other things. this is a great replacement for a large purse if you want something that you don't necessarily want to carry. it's also an awesome carry-on for plane travel because it'll fit under the seat and you'll still have room for your feet. there's a 2nd pocket on the front for things you want to have quick access to - keys, a phone, whatever else you might like up front. the straps are a single belt style - they are not reinforced or have padding on them, so don't overload this so that it's uncomfortable, putting stress on your shoulders and the straps.i really like this peach/melon/coral color - it's diferent enough that you can claim it as your own and it won't blend in with anyone else's. you can personalize it with some patches as well and make it even cuter.the little pack really makes me want to go somewhere to be honest. i think this is going to make a great weekender trip bag.What a cool throwback! I love this Outdoor mini-backpack with its retro label and fun color. The hang tag is really cute, too. This is a nice size to use for a purse or day trip, and the quality is what you'd expect. My original Outdoor backpack lasted about 20 years, and this is made with similar materials and finishes. Straps are easy to adjust and don't slip when in use. I'm thrilled with this and am so glad that I found it.This is a great little backpack -- it is mini, but still manages to hold quite a bit of stuff. I ordered this for my granddaughter in the langoustino (orange) color which is bright and cheerful. The Cordura fabric is tough and the stitching is very well done. The top-of-the-line zippers are a cream/light beige color that contrasts nicely with the orange -- they are very heavy-duty & have strong blue cordage attached to the metal zipper pulls (another nice contrast). The front of the backpack has a patch featuring the Outdoor Products logo; beneath this is a large, expandable zipper pocket (about 4" high X 7" wide) with a small Cordura logo tag. The double zippered main compartment opens to a very cute lined interior (beige background, with a pattern of various duffle bags and backpacks + the brand logo in brown). A partition creates an inner pocket (both the partition and the back is padded, so this is a great place to stow an electronic device. There is also room for various other items in the main compartment. The adjustable shoulder straps and the carrying/hanging loop are cream colored webbing and are also very strong.Overall, this is an impressive backpack that will probably outlast me. The durability of the fabric, the level of workmanship and attention to detail are all top-notch. Easily the best mini backpack I have ever seen. An expensive purchase, but the quality speaks for itself.I got this bag for my teenage daughter who is 14 and is all into the mini bags but def not going to lie I am 35 and still into the mini bags they are great to have when running errands take what you need and go. Between that and maybe a tote are and have to be my favorites and especially the back pack style or the cross body ones. I will say I am not sure yet if she is compeltely in love with this bag yet but I will speak for my impressions on the make of the bag. I will say this comes in what appears to be really good quality sometimes that is a real hit or miss sometimes but this was def a hit. The bag itself is like a canvas bag and def reminds you of like a jansport bookbag but smaller if that makes sense. The lining of the bag is detailed as you can see and the zippers work very smoothly they are a bit clunky as in big but for me if they work smoothly I dont care what size they are. The straps are made of a nice material very soft and feel very sturdy. I have to say thou the material for me isnt referenced well in the picture I think this is a nice little bag again seems to be very well made and sturdy.If you’re into mini backpacks, the ’73 Originals New Generation Mini Pack is a winner. Every time I look at it, I think “cute”! I got it in the Langoustino color, which is a little less orange than it appears in the pictures and a little more salmon colored. I was impressed at how well made this mini backpack is, but at this price point, I would expect quality. The straps, zippers and fabric are all good quality, as is the stitching and overall construction. A padded interior pouch will easily fit a tablet, and a front zippered pocket has a clip for your keys. I think this will hold up well for daily use for a long time. This bag is very functional in terms of size, so long as you’re not expecting to fill it like a full-size backpack—but it’s small size is a key to its cuteness. It’s small but still allows for you to carry goods with ease, I love wearing this backpack. I typically carry all my Covid supplies and a portable battery/ headphones wherever I go and this backpack carries them with ease. This color is very vibrant and the quality is great as well, I will definitely be getting a lot of use out of this backpack. All the zippers work with ease and there hasn’t been any slipping as of yet, I assume this backpack will last for years. Carry your accessories in style, this obviously isn’t a full size backpack but you will be able to carry a considerable amount of goods.This is a great little backpack! I was so sick of having to deal with the cross body purse that I had and this was just what I needed. It can also hold quite a bit for its size. Definitely worth the money!
