rubber lower portion cracked on both boots after 1 1/2 years of moderate use. I have my 12 year old pair, no cracking but wore the soles off of them. I tried to shoegoo them but as it is a flex area wouldn't hold. Expensive boots and can't wear. Get a $50 dollar pair and throw them out 3 times for what these cost. And yes "made in China".
