Weather you just like to go to the range and shoot targets or head out into the wilds for Bow Hunting season, you need a way to carry your gear. This pack was designed to get you there with ease and comfort. This is NOT a pack you would take on the Appalachian trail or crossing the Rockies, this is a DAY pack for your Bow gear only. The outer material of the pack is made of a strong "rip-stop" waterproof nylon with a nice Forest Camo design printed on it. The straps are padded and have mesh for breathability as does the "against the back" portion of the pack. You have a chest strap that keeps the shoulder straps in place while you maneuver the terrain, along with a nice waist strap to help keep some of the weight off your shoulders. Both have long adjustments for heavier clothing (if needed). The main compartment where your bow gets strapped down in, opens like a book to give you a dry spot to place your bow so you can prep for shooting or storing. There are two rows of molie loops, with small straps, for securing the bow in place. The large mesh pouch at the bottom of this area adds to the support of your bow. Once the bow is secure, the pack folds over and has three adjustable straps to connect the sides. This allows you to keep you sighting systems in place as well as any balance weights. On the front of the pack are three well sized and placed pockets. On the top side of the front, the pocket is perfect for gloves, hats, hoods and other "need fast access to" items. The center, almost full-size pouch, will fit a complete change of clothes (if needed), food for the day, other larger items like a tree seat or small stand. The outside front pocket opens like a fold down table, so you can hang the pack on a tree, open the front pocket and have a small dry area to read a map, eat a snack or set your gloves/binoculars etc. On seamed side of the pack, remember "the opens like a book", They have added a hanging pocket (adjustable height) and side straps for your quiver and arrows. All-in-all, this is a well thought out and made pack that should give you years of service and enjoyment. Just a side note: the videos show a chest pouch for your binoculars, this is NOT included, too bad though, it would be a great addition.
